The Clubhouse

There's a great deal to enjoy at the Royal Motor Yacht Club, whether it be relaxing in the bar or on the patio, fine dining in the Grill Room restaurant, an elegant function in the Mountbatten and/or Edinburgh Room, or even just a game of snooker with other members or their guests on the full size table in the Bursey Room.

The Grill Room restaurant and bar offer both a bar snack menu and elegant gourmet dining with spectacular sea views over Poole Harbour. A view also enjoyed by the spacious and tastefully decorated function rooms which have much to offer for social functions and presentations.

Dress Code
A reasonable standard of dress is expected throughout the club at all times.

The dress code for drinking or eating in the bar area is at least Smart Casual. The dress for dining in the Grill Room is Formal in the evenings and at least smart casual at lunchtime, but the wearing of jeans of any description in the Grill Room, Mountbatten room and the Edinburgh Room is unacceptable. Sunday lunch in the Function Room requires Formal dress.

The Committeee may relax the dress code between 1st May and 30th September.RMYC

More informal dress is acceptable on the patio and on Club boating evenings in the summer (Wednesdays and Thursdays) in the bar area. Bare feet are not acceptable.

Neither wet gear, (oilskins, sea boots etc.) nor hats should be worn in the clubhouse at any time.
